Koester, Genevieve (Foell) Wolf
Genevieve (Foell) Wolf Koester, 100, of Anamosa, died May 16, 2011, at the Anamosa Care Center of natural causes. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. The Rev. Clinton Wolf will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Interment will be 3 p.m. Friday at Hampton Cemetery in Hampton.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. Clinton (Doris) Wolf of Des Moines; a daughter, Bessie (Alan) Tapper of Anamosa; a stepson, Robert (Marcia) Koester of Clear Lake; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; seven brothers, Glenn, Clem, Perry, Francis, Raymond, Robert and Cecil; and two sisters, Violet Smedley and Julia Meyer.
