Koenig, LuAnn D.
LuAnn D. Koenig, 49, of Marengo, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Marengo Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness from brain cancer diagnosed at an earlier age. Funeral Services: 10 a.m. Monday, March 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo. Burial: Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Survivors include her parents, Rudolph and Verna Koenig; three brothers, Larry (Cheryl) of Bondurant, Lee (Vicki) of Marengo and Lorne (Sandy) of Marengo; a sister, Linda Utsinger (Leon) of Oquawka, Ill.; 17 nieces and nephews; and 21 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be contributed to St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo, Essence of Life Hospice or Marengo Memorial Hospital.
