Kobusch, Shirley L. Strait
Shirley L. Strait Kobusch entered into eternal life Jan. 26, 2011.
She was born July 13, 1938, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Leland and Marjorie (Lint) Strait. She married Joe Hoye. A son, Douglas, of whom she was predeceased, was born of this union. After divorcing, she married Laverne Kobusch in 1968. They moved to Florida and lived there until her death.
Besides her son, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.
She is survived by her husband; a sister, Betty of Fort Madison; two brothers, Jerry (Barb) of Cedar Rapids and Ronnie (Patricia) of Preston; and many nieces and nephews.
No funeral is scheduled. Funeral Solutions of Cocoa, Fla., is in charge of arrangements.
