LaVerne J. Kobusch

Laverne J. Kobusch, 77, of Mims, Fla., entered into eternal life June 6, 2012. Services are private.
He was born July 28, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Herman and M. Pearl (Carney) Kobusch. He retired from Florida Rock & Sand and was a 40-year member of the Elks Club.
LaVerne is survived by his two sons, Daniel J. (Sheryl) Kobusch and Douglas (Linda) P. Kobusch of Cedar Rapids; sister, Janice; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and brothers, Robert and William.
