Kness, Donald Lee
Donald Lee Kness passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by relatives and friends, on Sept. 5, 2013.
Don was born to Fred and Nellie (Anderson) Kness on Dec. 19, 1939.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Floyd, Freddie and Howard; and a sister, Colene Noke.
Don is survived by his significant other and caregiver, Beth Robidoux; a son, Daniel Kness of Riverton, Wyo.; a daughter, Dawn Miller of Minneapolis; grandsons, Trevor (Jenifer) and Zachary Kness; and great-grandson, Elye Kness, all of Riverton, Wyo.; sisters, Mildred Shirbroun of Coon Rapids, Yvonne Smith of Vinton and Wanda McEndree, Jean Vaerk, Delores Korsmo and Jolene Rohret, all of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
As with many things in life, Don did it his way, and at his request, there will be no services.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
