Knepper, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Knepper, 78, of Toddville, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the Toddville Free Methodist Church, by Pastor Mark Loftquist. Friends may call one hour before the service Wednesday at the church. Burial: Dunkard Cemetery, Midway, Iowa, at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include her children, Dennis (Joan) Knepper, Donald (Sandy) Knepper, Debra (Doug) Adamson, Douglas Knepper, Donna (Dan) Novak and Dale (Raemee) Knepper; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack Heath, Jerry Wright, Larry Wright, Kaye Hanzlik and Dorothy “Dee Dee” Gephart; and several nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert; parents; and brother, Martin Wright.
Born June 11, 1932, Mary Lou was the daughter of Don and Myrtle (Heath) Wright. On June 11, 1951, she was united in marriage to Norbert Knepper in Monticello, Iowa.
Mary Lou will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary Lou's memory.
