Knapp, Betty Lou
Betty Lou Knapp, 86, of Walford, formerly of Marengo, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with the Rev. Tom Reuss officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 29, at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
Betty is survived by two sons, Rory (Kevin) of Marion and Fred of North English; a daughter, Mary Gomez of Marengo; 11 grandchildren, Kevin Knapp, Cody Knapp (Megan), Casey Knapp (Alicia), Caylie Knapp, Kendra Gomez, Kaitlyn Gomez, Krisha Gomez, Keegan Cope, Kevin Kolsto, Ashton Meek and Michael Joyner; and four great-grandchildren, Simon Fitzpatrick, Carter Knapp, Christy Knapp and Cora Knapp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Esther (Leader) Olson; two sisters, Evelyn Septer and Vivian Yoder; a brother-in-law, John Septer; a nephew, Duane Olson Sr.; and a grandniece, Debbie Martinson.
