Klopfenstein, Clive M.

Clive M. Klopfenstein, 75, of Ainsworth, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Mercy Iowa City after failing in health for the past two years. Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, at the Ainsworth Community Church. Visitation will begin at noon Monday at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will take place at Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth.

He is survived by his wife, Ginny Klopfenstein of Ainsworth; five daughters, Kathy Kuntz and husband Alan of Mount Vernon, Jeanette Kregel and husband Tim of Cedar Rapids, Julie Clark and husband Jeff of New London, Minn., Teresa Scheitlin of West Burlington and Linda Moothart of Lisbon; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his mother, Maxine Klopfenstein of Washington, Iowa; two brothers, Kerm Klopfenstein and Jane of Ainsworth and Mike Klopfenstein and wife Pat of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been established for the Ainsworth Community Church.
