Klinge, Charles 'Bus' W.
Charles “Bus” W. Klinge, 80, of St. Louis Park, Minn., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Aug. 11, 2011, at the Jones-Harrison Residence, Minneapolis.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marilyn (nee Vincent) Klinge; daughters, Jill Klinge and Lynn Bremner and husband Bill; granddaughters, Samantha, Madeline and Abigail Bremner; sister, Shirley Wood and husband Fred; and nephews, Gregg and Tracy Wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernst Albert and Ona (nee Newgent) Klinge.
Charles graduated from Indiana University, with a degree in business administration, and pursued a career in manufacturing and marketing fitness equipment until his retirement as president of Universal Gym Equipment, Inc. in 1993. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.
A private family service will be held at a later date, with inurnment in Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis, where he was born.
