Klever, Leona Kathryn
Leona Kathryn Klever died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at Marengo Memorial Hospital in Marengo after a brief illness at the age of 97 years.
She is survived by a sister, Joyce Stangland of Williamsburg; two brothers, Eugene Livingston of Fallbrook, Calif., and Dean Livingston of Mennefeir, Calif.; a half sister, Frances Munson, two half brothers, Tom Livingston of Coralville and Garth Livingston, and a stepsister, Jean Doehrmann, all of Williamsburg; a sister-in-law, Mildred Sperry of Lisbon; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents; husband in 1983; a brother, Melvin Livingston; a sister, Iola Weekly; half brother, Bruce Freeman; a stepsister, Dorothy Hugley; three sisters-in-law,: Evelyn Livingston, Colleen Livingston and Mabel Jones; and three brothers-in-law, Otis Stangland, Paul Sperry and Thomas Jones.
Celebration of Life Service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg. Pastor Kip Murphy will officiate. Burial will be at Pilot Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials are for First Presbyterian Church or Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts.
