Klein, Henry
Mr. Henry Klein, 93, of Columbia, Tn., passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Henry Bernard Klein was born March 29, 1919, in Saline County, Missouri, to George and Mamie Desmond Klein. He was a World War II veteran and served five years in the Navy on the USS Benningotn and the USS Indianapolis. He lived over 40 years in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and upon his retirement from Martin Marietta he and his wife, Merrel, moved to Rogers, Ark., where they resided for 15 years. The last nine years he had been a resident of Columbia, Tn.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Joyce White (Whitey) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Mark Strait of Cedar Rapids, Teresa Mullally (Sean) of Memphis, Tn., and Jeffrey Overturf (Toni) of Belfair, Wash.; and six great-grandchildren.
