Kip Allen Pearson, 50, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. A celebration of his life will be held in his honor at 933 14th Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, on Saturday, Jan. 9, at 1 p.m.
Kip is survived by his sons, Justin (Alicia) and Jesse Pearson; a brother, Terry (Lori) Pearson; his mother, Rayleen Pearson; an uncle, John (Mary) Pearson; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Pearson.
Kip graduated from Metro High School and had a love of animals, playing pool, camping and collecting.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial fund has been established at Hills Banks.
