King, Verna C.
Verna C. King, 81, of Washington, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Washington County Hospital following a short illness. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 Tuesday evening.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry King of Washington; son, Tim King and wife Michelle of Cave Creek, Ariz.; daughter, Stephanie Young and husband Marty of Buffalo Grove, Ill.; four granddaughters; brother, Marvin Dey and wife Jean of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and sister, Lois Melin of Elgin, Ill.
In lieu of flowers, a general memorial has been established.
