Residing in Omaha, Nebraska; formerly of North Liberty, Iowa.
Preceded in death by father, Frank King and mother, Violet Hicks-King; brother, William King. Survived by nephew David King (Annie) of Omaha, Neb., and niece Cheryl Wakeman (Michael) of Lakewood, Colo.; and special friends Liness and Mary Littrell of North Liberty. Born and raised in Red Oak, Iowa. Member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Iowa City, Iowa and ATO Fraternity. World War II Navy veteran. Attended the University of Iowa where he remained after graduation and worked as a hematologist at the University of Iowa Hospitals until his retirement.
