King Junior Browning, 86, of Marion, Iowa, passed away peacefully at his home, with his daughter by his side on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 1, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 2, at the New Life Outreach Worship
Center, 3300 42nd St. NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
King was born in Camden, Ark., on Aug. 25, 1934, to Henry Browning Jr. and Elizabeth Stevens Browning. King has seven brothers, three sisters, six stepchildren, nine children and over 55 grand-grandchildren and over 65 great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, one grandchild, two stepchildren and two spouses.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
