King, Bob
Bob King, 80, of Grinnell, died Jan. 26, 2011, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian King of Grinnell; three children, Katherine (Keith) Rose of Grinnell, Steve (Bonnie Ryan) King of Newton and Kevin “Bodie” (Anne) King of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Lois Kasal of Brooklyn and Blanche Manfull of Montour; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Karla King; one brother, Raymond King; and one sister, Lona DeBondt.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Grinnell Odd Fellows Lodge or JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
