Kimberly K. Kacena, 46, of Swisher, died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
There will be a time of gathering for family and friends to celebrate Kim's life from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, where at 5 p.m. a service of thanks will be performed by the area Girls Scouts, concluding with words shared by the Rev. Christine Humrichouse.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established to assist in Kim and Rick's children's education.
