Kimberly Chambers, 58, of Anamosa, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, surrounded by her loving family after a short battle with cancer. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where the family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 2. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa.

Kim Linette Walker was born Oct. 14, 1959, in Anamosa, the daughter of James and Linda (Clay) Walker. She attended Anamosa community schools and graduated in 1978. She was united in marriage to David Chambers on July 12, 2003, in Anamosa.

Over the years, she was employed by Doerr Electric in Anamosa and Four Oaks in Independence and Cedar Rapids.

She is survived by her loving husband, David; her parents, James and Lela Walker; sons, Josh and Shelly Luchtenburg and their children, Breanna, Landin and Faith; Jason Luchtenburg and his children, Alice and Lincoln; Jacob Luchtenburg and his daughter, Madison; and Tim Chambers; daughters, Linda and Steve Carnicle and their children, Lilly, Emma and Payten; and Sarah Luchtenburg and her children, Jaxon and Abel; a grandson, D'Vid Chambers; brothers, James (Amy) Walker, David (Marcia) Walker, Jeff (Carolyn) Walker, Dan Walker and Mark Walker; sisters, Debbie (Brian) Chapman and Christina Walker; uncles, Donald (Susie) Walker and Loren (Jan) Siebels; aunts, Linda (Art) Kollias and Lois Barnes; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Robyn Monk and Barb Auer.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; son, Brian Chambers; granddaughter, Jewels Chambers; grandparents, Fred and Deloras Clay, Jack and Hazel Norris and Ervin and Eileen Siebels; and uncle, Kenneth Walker; and aunts, Betty Hessenius, Carolyn Rife, Mary Moore and Rowena Stark.
