Kim Maureen Olson, 60, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, after a long illness. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Kim is survived by her daughter, Shawny Olson (Kyle Christensen); and grandchildren, Mya and Hailey Christensen, and Robert and Trevor Sakshaug.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy; and her daughter, Carrie.
Kim was employed at Apache Hose in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed social outings with her co-workers and friends. She especially enjoyed her regular trips to North Carolina with her best friends Barb and Bob, along with a large group of other close friends.
Kim was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
