Kevin D. Smith, 55, of Brooklyn, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, in Mount Vernon, Wash. There will be visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Private family services and inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
He is survived by his sons, Craig and Luke; his daughter, Krystal; and two grandchildren, Boston and Quincie, all of Brooklyn.
His mother Madonna Smith of Brooklyn; and sister, Diane VanErsvelde of North Liberty, also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale; a sister, Kathleen Smith; maternal grandparents, Doc and Melissa Roberts; and paternal grandparents, Phillip and Mildred Smith.
