Kevin L. Goetzinger, 59, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 after a brief illness.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home, followed with a prayer service with Fr. Douglas Loecke and a private family burial.
Kevin was born on January 20, 1966, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Rita and Leo Goetzinger.
His family and fiancée were his top priority. There wasn’t a thing he wouldn’t do or couldn’t fix for those close to him.
He enjoyed family gatherings, yardwork, vacations and, of course, his pickup trucks and his Camaro.
Kevin was a loving son, fiancé, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother Rita; fiancée Alana Wenger; sisters Cindy (Verl) Day; and Lori (Gary) Ferguson; and numerous nephews and niece.
Preceding Kevin in death were his father Leo; grandparents Andrew and Margaret Wagner; and Leo and Magdaline Goetzinger; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
