Kevin John Becker, 55, of Madison, Wis., formerly of Newhall, died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at University Hospital in Madison following a sudden illness. Private family services will take place.
Kevin was born Feb. 14, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, to Dean and Beulah "Bea" (Chambers) Becker. He graduated from Benton Community High School in 1978. He then attended Kirkwood Community College for two years.
He was employed in the information technology division of the insurance industry. He enjoyed computers, bowling and working on the farm.
Kevin is survived by his mother, "Bea" of Shellsburg; his brother, Curt Becker of Newhall; and his nephew, Doug Becker, and his niece, Shallen Becker, both of Newhall.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dean.
