Kephart, Mary
Mary Kephart, 80, of Toddville, Iowa, lost her long time battle with cancer Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, in her home.
Mary would have celebrated 65 years of marriage with her husband, Clifford Kephart, on Nov. 1, 2012. They have two children, Susan (Dennis) Gelo and Tim (Corinne) Kephart; and three grandchildren, Todd Gelo, Dawn Lane and Amanda Minnaert.
She was born in Cedar Rapids to Clifford and Hattie O'Brine on Nov. 29, 1931. She is survived by siblings, Ruth (Bernard) Briles and Dale (Sue) O'Brine.
Preceding her in death are also Melvin O'Brine, Dorothy DeLong and Betty O'Brine.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Aug. 25, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2204 26th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, where Mary had been a member for 64 years. Lowell Klinefelter will officiate.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
The family wishes to express thanks to St Luke's Hospice for their loving care.
