On Sunday, May 29, 2016, Kent Sackfield passed away. He was a lifelong artist, architecture enthusiast, photographer, woodworker and collector of all things interesting. A celebration of his life, featuring a display of his artwork, will be held in the Nobis Boardroom Suite at Figge Art Museum in Davenport on Sunday, June 5, from 2 to 4 p.m.
Survivors include his mother, Muriel Sackfield; his daughters, Kerry (Jon) Ossian and Sara (Bret) Trent; six grandsons; his stepdaughters, JoAnna Springsteen and Melissa (Tyler) Haupt; his ex-wife and special friend, Sherry Springsteen; and his brothers, Jeff (Jeanne) Sackfield, Hal (Jolene) Sackfield and Dana Sackfield.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Richard, and many cherished pets.
