Kenny, Gary L.
Gary L. Kenny, 57, of 300 Brookie., Seatonville, Ill., died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Born May 19, 1954, in Monticello, Iowa, to Alexander and Clara Delores Smith Kenny, he married Wendy Galetti on May 11, 1991, at Matthiessen Lake in Deer Park, Ill.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy of Seatonville; two sisters, Mary (Bob) Mohr and Cindy (Jerry) Weber, both of Hopkinton; and two brothers, Steve (Linda) Kenny of Annamosa, and William Kenny of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Gary was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton, Ill. He was a singer, song writer, guitarist and thinker.
A memorial service will be held at his church, 24 N. Main St., Princeton, Ill., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June18, with Pastor Derek Boggs officiating.
