Kenneth D. Yanda, 67, of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Ely, died Oct. 30, 2016, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Burial of ashes will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Following burial, the remembrance service will continue at Odie's in Ely.
Surviving are his wife, Cindee Mullin; children, Lisa Zahina, Theresa Daly, Stacy Yanda, Tamee Hicheri and Randee Hoose; brothers, Steve Yanda and Joe Yanda; and sisters, Donna White, Dana Yanda and Julie Yanda.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Yanda, and father, Donovan.
Kenneth was born Oct. 10, 1949. He worked as an auto mechanic and was a member of the Ely and Swisher American Legion posts. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.
