Kenneth "Kenny Ray" Walton, 59, of Belle Plaine, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital,
Cedar Rapids, after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, with a special memorial service at 6:30 p.m., at Hrabak Funeral Home.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Deb; children, Dawn (Jay), Devon (Rik) and Bill (Ashley); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Greg (Annette) and Steve; and three sisters, Sue, Brenda (Gary) and Roxie (Randy).
Kenny was born Jan. 2, 1955, to George and Carol Walton. He attended Belle Plaine High School and was employed by Town & Country Wholesale.
The family wants to thank Dr. Thomas Warren and staff, hospitalists, fifth floor and its awesome staff for their support and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Belle Plaine Athletic Boosters or Belle Plaine Ambulance.
Kenny was a true friend to many and loved for his 'smutty' sense of humor.
