There is no tragedy in the death of a 95 year-old-man who lived a healthy, wonderful, and prosperous life but our grief is unavoidable. It has been devastating to watch this loving, kind man be robbed of his intelligence and memories. We must all remember the family gatherings, the special occasions when we were together laughing and cheering each other on with wine and drinks. It was truly one big party with Ken and Barbie. May we find peace knowing that they are together again ‘the love birds’ dancing together in heaven’s eternity
Thank You to the wonderful staff at Grand Living of Indian Creek and the compassionate and caring staff of Suncrest Hospice. Special shout-out to Anna, Meriyah and Karsyn, his caregivers at Grand Living. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Suncrest Hospice of Cedar Rapids.
