Kenneth McCullough, 82, of Mechanicsville, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Mechanicsville Specialty Care Center. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsville. Arrangements by Stewart Baxter Funeral
& Memorial Services, Mount Vernon.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Nancy; children, Craig (Gena), Randy, Lynn (Bruce) Thumma, Stephen, Nicole (Randy) Dunkel, Kelly and Heather (Ron) Spading; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kenneth Paul McCullough was born Dec. 8, 1933, in Kellerton, Iowa, to Kenneth and Winona (Harnagel) McCullough. He served his country with special honors as a staff sergeant in the Army, then married Nancy Elliott on May 8, 1955, in Burlington, Iowa. He earned his master's in psychology from the University of Iowa and was proud to be a Hawkeye. Most recently, Ken was supervisor of school psychology at Grant Wood AEA. He had a deep appreciation of music and technology and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ted and Steve; sisters, Sandra and Andrea; and daughter, Laura.
