Kenny was born Dec. 24, 1931, in rural Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Hollis and Edna (Savage) Ralston. He graduated from the Fairbank High School in 1951. After graduating, Kenny joined the U.S. Army and was in the Korean War. He worked for John Deere from 1956 until his retirement in 1986. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and even going to some of the races with his family. He was very close to his family, especially the grandchildren and later the great-grandchildren. They would go to see him often after he had to go to the nursing home. He will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his two sons, Larry (Renae) Ralston of Fairbank and Randy (Deb) Ralston of Fairfax; three grandchildren, Ryan (Jennifer) Ralston, Jayson (Kaiya) Ralston and Ashley (Loren) Lehman; and seven great-grandchildren, Laney, Brinley, Macey and Tyler Ralston, Regan and Ellis Ralston and Aubrey Lehman.
