Kenneth "Ken" Charles Schneiderman, 85, of Marion, went to his Heavenly Father on Friday, Jan. 1, 2021. Private family services will be held at Teahen Funeral Home by Pastors Reggie Daniels and David Carrick. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Prairieburg.
Kenneth was born to John and Bertha Stubbe on the family farm on Aug. 20, 1935. Ken was the last surviving of 11 children. Ken moved to Cedar Rapids in 1963 and was in the home building construction business most of his life. He was a member of Cedar Rapids Grace Church, where he was baptized in 1982. Ken met the love of his life, Judith Stevenson, and they were married on April 24, 1982.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Schneiderman, Tressa Schneiderman, Helen Abels and Harriet Rust; brothers, Krene, John, Bernard, Harlan, Edwin and Burdell Schneiderman; and brothers-in-law, George Abels and Aron Rust.
He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; sisters-in-law, Gladys Schneiderman, Verna Schneiderman, Maria Schneiderman, Janice Schneiderman and Phyllis (John) McNamara; brothers-in-law, Larry (Patty) Stevenson and Mike (Meri) Stevenson; sister-in-law, Judy Stevenson; and many treasured nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Rapids Grace Church at 2905 D Ave. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402; or St. Patrick Catholic Church at 120 5th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405.
