KENNETH ALLEN HARTSOCK

Kenneth Allen Hartsock, formerly of Fairfax, Iowa, died Monday, April 23, 2018.
He was born March 1, 1957, at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa, to Charles Hartsock and Bernice (Kessler) Hartsock.
He graduated from Prairie High School
in May 1975. After graduation, Ken moved to Las Vegas, where he joined the construction union.
Ken loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His favorite pasttime was as a guide for other hunters.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta; his mother, Bernice Hartsock; his sister, Diane Riley (Rick); many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Lucy.
He was cremated and as he wished, his ashes will be scattered over his favorite hunting meadow where the elk can bugle for him to hear.
He was preceded in death by his father.
