Kenneth R. Cellman, 80, of Amana, formerly of the Oxford area, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, from complications of a stroke. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. Visitation will be one hour before the service Wednesday at the church.

Kenneth was born March 15, 1936, in Oxford, the son of John and Rosalie (Mahoney) Cellman. He attended and graduated from high school in Oxford, with the Class of 1954. He had lived in Davenport, many years in Des Moines and the last couple of years in Amana. Ken was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford and also the Iowa Commission for the Blind.
His family includes two brothers, Keith and his wife, Virjean Cellman, and William and his wife, Ruth Cellman, all of Oxford; his sister, Jane Gronewold and her husband, Galen, of Urbandale; and eight nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary and Joyce.
