Kenneth Bowen, a.k.a. "Kenny," "BoDog," "Shaggy," 53, of Marion, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at home. Memorial services will held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Cocktails and Company, 1625 Blairs Ferry Rd., Marion.
Kenny was an electric bike enthusiast, extremely dedicated to his work at Timberline Manufacturing and devoted to his two cats. He moved to Cedar Rapids from the Quad City area 20 years ago. He had no close living relatives.
He is survived by his circle of friends, Julie Ward, David Wedertz, Brenda Frerrie, Jeff Andrews, Patty Melow, Bill Tibbotts, Cuong Pham, Alex Biggart, Jason Wilson, Craig Murphy, Kevin Vandewall, Aaron Khule, Alysha Cornelius, Derek Couvdous, Aaren Hoffman, Ann Sobolik, Ben, Steve Lawrence, Janelle Burkhart, Donna Arnold, Kevin Farmer, Donna Rowe, Darla Rist, Brian Vogt and Rex Owens; and his two precious cats, Buddy and Toby.
He was preceded in death by his one true love, Pam Sparks; father, Ward Bowen; estranged mother, Sharon Bowen; and good friends, Ronnie Clayton and Mark Callanan.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
