Kennedy, Victor J.
Victor J. Kennedy, 63, a lifelong resident of Ryan, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home, where he has resided for several years. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Calvary Cemetery, Ryan. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Manchester is in charge of arrangements.
Vic was born Sept. 12, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Charles J. and Lorraine (Reiss) Kennedy. He graduated from St. Patrick's High School and worked at the Ryan Co-op doing general labor work at the feed mill.
Vic is survived by three brothers, John Kennedy of Shawnee, Kan., Barry Kennedy of Ryan and Kevin Kennedy of Warsaw, Mo.
Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lorraine Kennedy; and a sister, Connie.
Memorials may be directed to the Epilepsy Foundation or St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Ryan.
