Kennedy, Kenneth Raymond
Kenneth Raymond Kennedy, 88, of Marion, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 12, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids by Father Dennis. A memorial mass to honor Kenneth's memory will be held at a later date.
Kenneth was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, to Ralph and Laura (Watson) Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Robert.
Kenneth was a kind and gentle person who wished only to be remembered as a good man and someone who was dedicated to his Catholic faith.
Memorials in Kenneth's honor should be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marion.
