Kendall J. Werning, 54, died Friday, Feb. 27, 2015, at his rural Newhall home of cardiac arrythmia. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 7, at Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 212 E. Sixth St., Vinton, with the Rev. Connie Wacht officiating. Interment will be held at later date. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.
