Kelty, Marie Marcella
CEDAR RAPIDS - Marie Marcella Kelty, 94, a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha, of natural complications of old age. There will be no visitation or service. Her body has been cremated. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Marie was manager of Fanny Farmer Candies in the Paramount Building for 25 years, earning many awards and citations for her excellence.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Paul J. Kelty; a niece and her husband, Lana and Richard McBride of Naples, Fla.; and a nephew, George Blazek of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mollie Blazek.
