KELLY SHERWOOD
Cedar Rapids
Kelly Sherwood, 58, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a loving daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away due to complications of COPD on March 11, 2021.
Kelly was a true artist and an inspiration. She faced many life struggles and was able to overcome them full of love and passion. Kelly was strong; mind, body, and spirit. She will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. In keeping with her kind and compassionate spirit, in death, she became a donor through the Iowa Donor Network.
We want to give a special thank-you to the UnityPoint ICU and Hospice staff for doing an amazing job while caring for Kelly and for keeping her as comfortable as possible until the end.
Kelly was preceded in death by her brother, Patrick; and her nephew, Matthew. She is survived by her parents, Paul (Barbara) and Karen Jensen; her three children, Brandy, Jacob (Jossy) and Dylan (Lamasters); her brothers, Rick and Steven (Mary) Jensen; stepbrother, Mike Rinnels; four grandchildren, Ayrianna, Larissa, Brayden (Lamasters) and Isabella, who adored her more than anything; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be no services, but there will be a Celebration of Life on Mother's Day of 2021. Details for this celebration to come at a later date.
Please share your support and memories with Kelly's family on her tribute wall at www.stewartbaxter.com under obituaries.
