Kelley, Marie
Marie Kelley, 91, of Cedar Rapids, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, May 3, 2010. She had been residing at Northbrook Manor Care Center following a long and fulfilling life. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Dr. Don Jackson of the Cedar Rapids Christian Center will officiate. Friends may call after noon Friday at the Chapel of Memories. Interment will take place at Shiloh Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include a son, Jim of Marion; brother, Orville Morris of Marion; and daughters-in-law, Joan of Washington and Ester of California.
Also surviving are a nephew, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ivan.
Marie was born March 3, 1919, in Linn County, the daughter of James and Grace (Winn) Morris. She married Ivan Kelley on Oct. 11, 1945. She enjoyed being a wife, mother, homemaker and farm life. She was active in her church, Cedar Rapids Christian Center.
She loved life and the people she met. Those she touched will miss her smile.
