Kelley, Deanna June
Deanna June Kelley, 51, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 6, 2012, at the Belle Plaine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Chaplain Mary Beth Siemann of Iowa Hospice will officiate. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her two children, Sarah (Jordan) Overton of Cedar Rapids, and Ben Boutiba of Tampa, Fla.; husband, Tom Gulick of Belle Plaine; a brother, Chuck Kelley of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Debbie (Mike) Whitson of Belle Plaine, and Cathy (Bill) Van Nevel of Belle Plaine; and three grandchildren, Courtney, Zach and Adleah.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Connie Shulista.
Deanna June Kelley was born Dec. 29, 1960 in Davenport, Iowa, the beloved daughter of Thomas and Donna Looney Kelley. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Her greatest job was being a loving mother to her children, Sarah and Ben. She worked as a bookkeeper for Eagles Econo Foods and Hy Vee grocery stores. Deanna enjoyed the beach, water, sun tanning, baking, and, above all, time with her grandchildren and family. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be greatly missed.
“Dee Dee”, our sweetie, has left this Earth, but she will never be forgotten and will always be in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
