Keller, Luanne
She was a flight attendant for 22 years with Pan American Airways, traveling to almost every country it served. She enjoyed travel and meeting people of every country and culture. She learned many languages and loved visiting their architectural wonders and tourist attractions on free days between flights. When Pan Am went under in 2001, she went back to school, attending Sarasota Technical School, taking courses to lead to a new career. She learned computer technology, paralegal work and medical terminology, etc. She temped for two years testing various careers, finally deciding on working for Sarasota County in the transportation department. She developed many friendships there at SCAT.
Luanne was a kind and caring person who could talk to anyone on any subject. Many times she was asked if she had studied psychology because of her logical, intelligent outlook on fellow problems. She is so very missed already.
Luanne is survived by her mother, Lois; sister-in-law, Jackie Soukup; nephew and niece, Darrin and Suzanne Keller; and many dear cousins and friends. Her two dogs, Toby and Laddie, and her cat, Scampy, were immediately adopted by friends from work.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Louis; brother, Steven; and aunt, Corinne Fraverd.
A life beautifully lived, a caring heart, a friend to all, Luanne will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
