Keitha "Kit" Weber, 78, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away April 21, 2025. She was born on July 5, 1946 in Cedar Rapids to the late Keith V. and Pauline L. (Oliphant) Dice.
Kit was very proud of her 25 years spent as a 911 dispatcher for the Linn County Sheriff's Department. She enjoyed traveling around the country, camping in her Tipi. She also enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, listening to music, specifically from her son, Peter and grandchildren, and was a front-row season ticket holder for many years at the Paramount Theater. Kit relished the weekly dinner dates with her girlfriends whom she loved very much.
Otherwise known as Grandy, she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had recently relocated to Canton, Ohio to be near her daughter, Danielle. More than anything Kit loved her family and friends. They were the highlight of her life.
Kit is survived by her loving children, Danielle (Kevin) Swinderman of Massillon, Ohio, Peter Cacioppo of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Katia Wilkes, of Texas; grandchildren, Ali (Will Brison) Carpathios, Emily (Lance) Augustine, Jonnie (fiancée, Rachel Mahar) Carpathios, Jacob (Sophia) Cacioppo, Julia Cacioppo, Emily Steel, and Mia and Ajay Wilkes; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Lily Augustine, and Brodie and Brooks Brison.
A Celebration of Life will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at a later date.
