Inverness, Fla.
Keith Eugene Sauer, 84, of Inverness, Fla., formerly of Troy Mills, Iowa, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2018.
He was born in Buchanan County, Iowa, on April 9, 1934, to Olvin and Dorothy (Geiser) Sauer. He graduated from Troy Mills School and served in the armed forces afterward.
A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at the East Citrus Community Center in Inverness, Fla. Burial will be later in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
Keith is survived by his children, Michael (Hui Cha) Sauer of Jonesboro, Ga., Russell (Donna) Sauer of Lisbon, Iowa, Connie Chartier of Inverness, Fla., Susan Sauer of Waterloo, Iowa, Sandra (Marty) Turner of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Jerald (Melissa) Sauer of La Porte City, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his six brothers and sisters; and his wife, Elizabeth (Walztoni), in 2014.
