Keith was born Nov. 13, 1934, rural Oxford, the son of John and Rosalie (Mahoney) Cellman. Following graduation from Oxford High School with the Class of 1953, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. Returning to Oxford following his service to his country, he married Virjean Dee Ackley on Dec. 28, 1957, in Oxford. Keith always has had farming in his blood, but he also worked off the farm for a short time for Amana Refrigeration, and then for more than 30 years for Procter & Gamble. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Oxford. A man of the land simply loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, cutting firewood, raising a number of different breeds of dogs, trap shooting and basically anything outdoors. He also enjoyed playing cards, and anything to do with his family he loved being with them, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
His family includes his wife of nearly 62 years, Virjean; their children, Mike Cellman, Linda Allen (Greg), Diana Pence (Chuck) and Denise Ogden; 10 grandchildren, Mandy Hubler (Vic), John Cellman, Lindsay Plecker (Stu), Mallory Allen, Chelsey Tank (Joseph), Hayley Wall (Greg), Casey Pence (Kenzy), Chloe Pence, Owen Ogden (Brittany) and Riley Ogden; eight great-grandchildren, Hadleigh Wolff, Oscar Wolff, Delilah Cellman, Emma Plecker, Mason Plecker, Charlee Wall, Chance Wall and Asher Ogden; Keith's brother, William Cellman (Ruth); and his sister, Jane Gronewold (Galen).
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth; two sisters, Mary and Joyce; and a grandson, Nathan Campbell.
