Keegan, Nathan L.
Nathan L. Keegan, 51, formerly of Blairstown, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Phillips Funeral Home in Blairstown. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday.
A memorial fund has been established.
Nathan was born July 17, 1958, in Cedar Rapids, to Donald and Ruby (Koster) Keegan.
He is survived by his special friend, Linda Weseman of Cedar Rapids; his children, James Keegan and special friend Nicole Hoffman of Marion and Julia Keegan and fiance Ben Surprenant of Waterloo; his grandchildren, MaKayla Keegan and Aiden Surprenant; and his sisters, Nancy (Dave) White of Waukee and Jill (Gene) Jordan of Parnell.
His parents preceded him in death.
