Kean, Edna 'Pat'
Edna “Pat” Kean, 84, of Oaknoll Retirement Residence, Iowa City, formerly of Shaker Heights, Ohio (1965-2000) and West Palm Beach, Fla. (2000-2012) died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, in Iowa City, Iowa, surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, at Agudas Achim Congregation, 401 Oakdale Blvd., Coralville. Headstone placement will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Association.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Edward L. Kean, professor emeritus at Case Western Reserve; four daughters, Alison Kean (Bruce Campbell), Leslie Kean (Daniel Promislow), Jaime Kean and Diane Campbell (Lundy Campbell); eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Susan (Jose) Assouline of Iowa City.
