It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Kathy Hoff, 56, of Redfield, S.D., formerly of Cedar Rapids, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathy finally lost the fight on Monday, April 18, 2016, passing peacefully in her sleep.
Surviving are her husband, Dan Hoff; a daughter, Krystal; brothers, Jim and Steve; sisters, Ann, Theresa and Rhonda; and her parents, Hank and Kay Gunckle.
Kathy was an accomplished artist and loved to help anyone with anything. Her goofy personality will be sorely missed. She touched many lives and brought a smile to anyone she passed.
Kathy greatly enjoyed spending time with Krystal and traveling to Disney World, Reno and California to visit her parents.
A celebration of life gathering to share fellowship and memories will be announced shortly.
