Colesburg
Kathryn Margaret Wessel, 95, of Colesburg, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colesburg, with the Rev. John Haugen as celebrant. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Edgewood, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service. Friends may also call one hour before the service Saturday at the church. Interment: Zion Cemetery, Colesburg.
Survivors include her five children, Karen (John) Schneider of Blue Bell, Pa., Ellen (Charles) Lammers of Manchester, Mary (Duane) Streif of Elgin, John (Luann) Wessel of Colesburg and Joyce (Edward) Connolly of Sun Prairie, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roland; an infant son, Charles; and her 10 siblings, Laurence, James, Joseph and Arthur Bockenstedt, Sister Leone Bockenstedt, Laurene Hogan, Vincent and Charles Bockenstedt, Clara Ronnebaum and John "Jack" Bockenstedt.
