Kathryn Ann "Katy" Popenhagen, 80, of Grinnell, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Oct. 16, 2015, at St. Francis Manor in Grinnell. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in
Grinnell. Burial will be at a later date in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. A vigil service and rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brooklyn Library, Brooklyn, Iowa; and St. Mary's Catholic Church and St. Francis Manor, both of Grinnell.
